Personally I could live without the branding, as I fiercely oppose wearing any kind of logo for anything I do however its quite minimalistic and shares the same color as the rest of the laptop body, unlike some other Lenovo models that contrast with chrome. It was quite easy for me to put my own decal without any frustrations of air pockets. The Y510P comes with a brushed aluminum plating that can look quite nice to the eye, as well as smooth to the touch. ***All pictures done with an HTC One, Sorry no DSLR here yet.*** Lastly, why here? and not NBR? Well this place is my home, and frankly this place could use a little wake up call with some members in regards to misinformation regarding laptops viability. ![]() I had a lot of inquiries of information regarding this laptop, and felt it might be easier to just make a template review and add to it as others come along and ask for it. ![]() I decided to make this thread to provide information for those that are interested in a regular joe's opinion and critique of the Lenovo Y510P from a user that personally owns this model laptop. Second, I would like to state that comprehensive is a little loose, as it its comprehensive to me, however may not be for many of the members on this forum that follow a much higher standard.
